I’ve got it to compile and convert runs, but the convert utility the only utility I need can’t find the jpeg delegate library. Usage questions which are too arcane for the normal user list should also be posted here.

I introduced a poll for a solution to reduce this mistakes: But I’m not sure which file is the required delegate library, nor where the correct install path is located. I don’t know for certain whether that’s because the jpeg delegate library is not in the correct location, or whether there’s still a build problem. More generally, is there any documentation giving more info about imagemagikc delegates work?

Or, at minimum, convert thinks the configure script gave instructions to build the jpeg delegate. It looks like ImageMagick did not know what library to look for. I don’t have a native toolchain for the target platform, imagemayick I have to cross-compile.
Ran configure, make, make install no error messages Now when I try and recompile imagemagick, it still says ‘ Checking for PNG This doesn’t work for me either.
I think the critical part for me was the known dependencies and xelegates apt-get build-dep imagemagick. Trying to recompile IM using: Issue I am getting is ‘no delegate for format PNG found’ when doing a convert command.
I have ‘yum’ installed but not ‘apt-get’. Plo modules get built, which is why I suspect that the problem may be simply that imwgemagick delegate is not installed in the correct location.
