His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji is carrying on the mission started by HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and declared the year 2008-09 as Jeeyar Sathabdi. Several programs such as Sri Vishnu Sahasra Nama Sthothra Virat Parayanam, Gita Jyoti, Githamrutha diksha, Sri Venkateswara Ashtakshari likhitha japam (11000 crores), Sri Venkateswara Saranagati Diskha are only a few examples of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji's compassionate efforts in the footsteps of HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji.
As a tribute to His Holiness Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji in his birth centenary year, "Prapanna Deeksha" is announced by His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Sri Ashta:kshari Maha: Manthra japam and Sri Vishnu Sahasra Na:ma Stho:thra parayanam are being taken up for one whole year starting from 12th July 2008 in prapanna deeksha. This is a noble occasion in which every participant will be able to chant the name of our beloved Lord over one million times during the course of one year to show our gratitude and respect to the greatness of the Manthram, Lord and A:cha:rya.

Githa Diksha : More than 1500 adults and 1000 children chanted 6 selected slokas from the Bhagwad Gita every day for 40 days.

Srimad Bhagwad Gita chanting (all 18 chapters) was organized on Vaikuntta Ekadasi day at Sri Thirumalagiri Lakshmi Venkata Narayana Swamy Temple, J.P Nagar.

Githa Jyothi : 48 selected slokas representing the essence of Srimad Bhagwad Gita were chanted every week at one of the bhagavatha’s place. Meaning of selected sloka was discussed.
